I was thinking if I should go watch it with my friends in the theater in times square (nyc).

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a great concept. But now that all these movies are being changed from purchases to rentals, I’m starting to get ticked off at Apple. First of all, they don’t give you a decision between renting and buying movies (which they should do). I know that a few movies on iTunes do have this option (like Ratatouille), but for some new releases (like The Simpsons Movie) you can forget about it.
Second, movies previously available for purchase are now becoming rentals. I admit that $10-$15 is a little pricey for an iTunes movie, but it’s much cheaper than buying a movie at Wal Mart (with tax) or any brick and mortar movie store.
What’s your opinion? Thanks, your answers are always appreciated!
