Do you think that if a man has never been around his kids in 6 1/2 years (they are 8 and 7years old) and then has his new girl pay child support for him should see these kids? I have been with my husband for 6 years now and he is all my kids know as a father. We have never recieved a dime of child support because my ex has been in prison. He was in and out of jail when he and I were together and I always tried to stay by his side for our kids sake. Well the last time he got locked up I moved on and never looked back. Now about 3 months ago my ex was released and apparently met a lonely woman with money who was sending him money in prison and now she is buying him everything he needs and even sent me money for the kids. Is this right? I mean I want my kids to know who they come from but I don’t want them to get these kinds of messages….you know that you can live a messed up life and then someone is always there to bail you out. He has never showed he can do a dam thing.
would you introduse your kids to a guy like this if they don’t know him?
should I make him prove himself?
Or should I not accept anymore money (they only sent it once) and let a judge determin the situation?
The woman he is with has money so she can probably get a good lawyer and then who knows what could happen.
Is this Ok for the kids?
The only Dad they know is my husband and they love him soooo much. And they know he loves them.

I have a daughter who is 6 years old, I am paying supporto n her but havent seen her for 3 years?
Hi there, my story begins with a sad case, i had a child in 2001, but mom and i broke it off in 2005, i have since left that state, and am a father to a new child, mom keeps hiding from me, has nott let me see the child for THREE solid years, yet they continue to take support from me, i would be OK with this if i could at least see my daughter, but too much time has past, i am not financially able to support ALL of them at once, mom out there has remarried, so i am trying to find a way to “release” my rights, affordably and preferably without alot of drama, i know i will be bashed on this but i am hoping for some SERIOUS guidance, my daughter was 2 and a half when i left, she doesnt know who i am, this is for the best and i have struggled with this for a LONG time.
If anyone has any professional experience or guidance, can i go to the court in my state and file a paper or something, i dont really want to do this, but i am left with no other choice…. please help me in this!

I WANTED to be a part of my daughters life, but my EX cheated on me, and ran away, she played mind games, only showed up when she NEEDED something and all that, i met a woman in another state (quite far away from this one) and decieded to try a new life, it DID HURT, and i even went back, so much has changed, shes over 6 years now, she still returns mail from my dad, and we havent spoken since 2005 (the mom and me) logisticlly seeing her would be hard, shes 39 hours away( i know i dont want to give her up, but what do i have now???)
these are the REAL issues, not “kicking it with my buddies or smokes” none of that is important to me, thanks everyone for the leads, butr the BIGGEST factor i face is the law.
in this state if the mom and dad were nOT MARRIED at time of birth, MOM retains ALL RIGHTS, she NEVER has to let me see my gurl EVER, attorneys have already told me this, so u can see theres more to this then meets the eye!
