does anyone remember before dvd when there was only VHS and u could only rent cause buying them was like $100?

i used to work at blockbuster during the mid 90s and i remember you couldnt just buy a new release movie when it came out on video you would have to rent it because they would cost like$99.99 ANnd after a while like 4 to 5 months they would be available to buy for a reasonable price. there would be some movies mostly children movies that u could buy immediately but the rest would be only available for rental, i wonder if thats hurt the rental industry?

Hey I need some help with buying movie tickets online cause I’ve never done it before.

After I do so and I print it out, do I just go to the box office and give them the print out with the confirmation number? Do I need ID or credit card with me?

Buying movie tickets online, is this ever likely to fail me?

I’m 16, and in my opinion, I look my age, 16, so I’d be very unlikely to be able to buy a ticket for an 18 movie directly at the cinema box office. So, when I want to see an 18 I usually buy tickets online, and then get the tickets out of the machine at the cinema.

I’ve done this 3 or 4 times so far without fail, the guys who rip the tickets at the entrance to the screen area have never hesitated.

I gather they just want to do their job and go home, they don’t wanna bother confronting some one who already has a ticket. So have I just been lucky so far or is this pretty fool proof?
