Is it illegal to watch movies online (i mean without buying a dvd or going to a theater)?

I was just wondering if there are any laws that gets you into trouble for watching a movie that is not supposed to be available yet…. If i were to guess, i would probably guess that there are a lot of websites out there that gives u movies without spending money on dvds or theater tickets… are there any penalties to the watchers? is it illegal just to watch it online ? i know taking movies illegally is highly against the laws but watching them? and how about downloading them? Please dont guess the answer… i can do that too

buying Eclipse tickets online?

I’m buying tickets online for Eclipse, but I’m kinda confused on something. I went on fandango.com and i chose the theatre and the movie but when it says show dates and i chose june 29th at 12:01am. but wouldn’t that be june 30th? and i’m 12 but i could pass for 14. would they let me in? thanks for the help!
my mom would be there, so i don’t see why they wouldn’t.

Ok this might be confusing, just stay with me.
I’m trying to see watchmen on friday (opening night), but I’m not 17 yet. If my parents buy the ticket online, then i use their credit card to get the ticket at the theatre, will i be able to go in, or will they still card me even with a ticket? thanks

Can you buy advanced movie tickets at the theater’s box office instead of buying it online?

I want to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on Friday, and to garuantee myslef a spot, I wanna have advanced tickets…. but I cant use my credit card, so I wanna just buy it at the box office instead of online. Is this possible? THX… btw the theater is cineplex. (http://cineplex.com) I have checked the website it doesn’t say anything about it…

im taking my little cousin to the movies. im going to buy the tickets online but i don’t know if i should buy a student or child ticket. my cousin is 9 and goes to school so she is a student. but she is also a child (under 12.) which one should i buy?
