The MPAA and Ratings Creep

Film critic Scott Nehring explains the purpose behind the Motion Picture Assoc. of America and he talks about the phenomenon of “Ratings Creep”. Ratings Creep is when content of a film becomes more palatable over time as society’s tastes coarsen. What was Rated-R in 1980 is now PG-13 or PG. Was was PG then is G now, and so on.
