If I bought tickets online to the opening of the new Harry Potter movie, does that garentee me a seat?

08 Aug

I bought four tickets to the movie but i think its too good to be true that i could just buy them online. Do I really have the tickets or is it first come first serve?
I mean surely they only sell as many tickets as they have seats, right? If I dont get there early enough will I even be able to get in?

you have tickets but most movie theaters are first come first serve as far as seating goes. you still have to get there pretty early to get good seats.

well u can buy tickets, but that normally doesnt gaurentee u a seat. im not sure because i dont really go to the movies alone, so i usually have to look for a couple seats together. but there is a really good chance that u will get at least one seat, as long as ur not late to the movie and u get there a little early.
but good luck, i hope u find a seat!

They’ll only sell as many tickets as there are seats available.

If you show up late, with 4 tickets odds are you’ll all have to sit separately in the open seats between different groups of people.

Yes, you are guaranteed seats. In my experience, theaters don’t sell a ticket for every single seat before declaring it sold out.

However, you should still show up at least an hour early to get decent seats and not be stuck in the very front. You also need to consider a movie like Harry Potter will have a BIG premiere and thus have waiting lines for people waiting for hours, especially for big theaters. Also, the more seats you want in a row, the earlier you have to show up. Other people will be thinking the same thing. I’d say show up 2-3 hours early.
