when they rip your ticket they’ll see it says CHILD, and unless your extremely immature….or even if you have to redeem it at a counter, they’ll see to. they might pentalize you , or not. however, thats kinda cheap (sorry) and they charge so much to keep theaters clean and running. next time, if you dont want to pay so much, rent it when it comes out on DVD

You won’t get in trouble for lying about the age online. However you may be asked to pay the difference for the cost of an adult ticket if you are caught and look older than 12.

-edit- The people who work door and check your tickets may not always check or care sometimes cause those places get real busy on the weekends.

well when you bring the ticket to the movie they can SEE that you are not 12.
of course you can get caught.
and depending on the movie you might not even be allowed to buy a “child” ticket.
